LAUSD’s own Grand View Blvd. Elementary School in Mar Vista presents their 30th annual Día de Muertos celebration. This lively annual dance production features students from Grand View’s Dual Language Program decked out in full regalia, performing numbers inspired by Baile Folklórico to traditional Mariachi music and Latin American classics.
To commemorate this very special 30th anniversary edition, The Friends of Grand View Booster Club is planning a Cumbia dance party immediately following the show complete with food trucks, activities for kids, and holiday-themed concessions.
The 30th annual Día de Muertos Celebration will take place Sunday, November 3 on the Grand View Blvd. Elementary School campus and will be open to the public. Entry begins at 10:30am with performances beginning at 11:00am; the festivities to follow will run from noon to 4pm.

Esta producción anual de danza presenta estudiantes del Programa de Lenguaje Dual de Grand View vestidos con todo el atuendo, interpretando números inspirados en Baile Folklórico con música tradicional de Mariachi y clásicos latinoamericanos.
Para conmemorar esta edición tan especial del 30 aniversario, The Friends of Grand View Booster Club está planeando una fiesta de baile de Cumbia inmediatamente después del espectáculo con camiones de comida, actividades para niños y concesiones con temas festivos.
La trigésima celebración anual del Día de Muertos tendrá lugar el domingo 3 de noviembre en el campus de Grand View Blvd Elementary y estará abierta al público. La entrada comienza a las 10:30 a.m. y las actuaciones comienzan a las 11:00 a.m. Las festividades a seguir serán del mediodía a las 4pm.
